Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pulp Mill Manager to lead our dynamic team and oversee the operations of our pulp mill facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of Kraft pulp manufacturing processes, and a proven track record of optimizing production efficiency while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.


Responsibilities:
Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the pulp mill team.
Oversee all aspects of pulp production to ensure optimal efficiency and quality.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize production output.
Implement quality control measures to meet customer specifications.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to optimize equipment reliability.
Develop and manage the pulp mill operating budget.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
Recruit, train, and mentor employees.


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp and Paper Science, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pulp mill operations.
In-depth knowledge of Kraft pulping processes and technologies.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in safety regulations, environmental compliance, and quality management systems.
Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
